It is protected against damage by being packaged in a Tape & Reel (TR). A safety precaution is taken by putting the magnetic switches into SOT-23W packages. Good performance is achieved by powering the magnetic switches with 17mA as the maximum current. Switches are operated by 3 pins. The file has 3 terminations. In order for this switch to function, its maximum voltage should be 24V. The switch normally supplies 12V to ensure reliable operation.
