As a protective measure, these photodiodes are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR). It is necessary to enclose the photodiodes in 4-TDFN Exposed Pad packages for safety purposes. The maximum voltage the photodiodes can withstand in reverse-bias mode is 20V. During reverse-bias operation, the photodiodes should never exceed 20V. There are 2 pins on the photodiodes. When no light is input, a photodiode will conduct at 200pA current.
