In order to prevent damage, the magnetic switch is packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR). A safety precaution is taken by putting the magnetic switches into SOT-23W packages. In operation, these switches are capable of outputting 25mA as the maximum current. It is possible for these switches to supply a maximum current of 4mA. Switches require 3 pins to function.
