AP6507SP-13 Overview


For optimal performance, this voltage regulator uses the Tape & Reel (TR) package. A voltage regulator consists of 8 terminations. There are two types of analog ICs on this voltage regulator. The first type is a SWITCHING REGULATOR-type IC. The space-saving 8-SOIC (0.154, 3.90mm Width) Exposed Pad package is available for this voltage regulator. The voltage regulator is configured with 1 outputs. On its output pins, this adjusting voltage regulator generates Adjustable output. There is a switching regulator that is compatible with the Surface Mount mounting. Operating at -40°C~85°C TA is the recommended temperature for adjusting voltage regulator's operation. DC-DC switching regulators reach 500kHz switching frequencies. A dc to dc voltage regulator's minimum input voltage of 4.5V is required for this voltage regulator to operate. As shown in the table below, adjusting voltage regulator's output voltage (Min/Fixed) is equal to 0.808V. This voltage regulator's peak reflow temperature is so high as to make it virtually indestructible. To meet the switching regulator operation requirements, a nominal input voltage of 12V is provided. This voltage regulator is included in the Switching Regulator or Controllers subcategory. In this case, the DC/DC regulator belongs to the family AP6507. The adjusting voltage regulator's output voltage is maintain at 15V. During switching regulator operation, 8 pins are used.
