BTN8982TAAUMA1 Description


For motor driving applications, the BTN8982TAAUMA1 is an integrated high current half bridge. It's part of the NovalithICTM series, which includes one p-channel highside MOSFET and one n-channel lowside MOSFET in a single package with an integrated driver IC. Because the p-channel highside switch eliminates the requirement for a charge pump, EMI is reduced. The integrated driver IC makes connecting to a microcontroller simple, with logic level inputs, current sense diagnosis, slew rate adjustment, dead time creation, and protection against overtemperature, undervoltage, overcurrent, and short circuit.
