CSDA1AC Overview

As a safety precaution, current sensors are placed in Module packages. In order to protect the devices from damage, these current sensors are packaged in the Bulk. These current sensors should supply 12mA current at their maximum. Current sensors should not supply more current than 12mA. It is important to make sure these current sensors work at temperatures higher than -25°C. It is recommended, however, to set the maximum operating temperature for the current sensors to 85°C. In the current sensor design, 12mA is the current for which the sensors are designed. As a rule of thumb, current sensors are supposed to supply a current of 6.5A. Current sensors should generate a voltage output of 400mV. The voltage supplied by these sensors should not be less than 6V in a DC circuit. It is however important that the voltage supplied by the current sensors in the DC circuit not exceed 16V.
