For protection against damage, the magnetic switch is packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR). Magnet switches are packed in TO-236-3, SC-59, SOT-23-3 packages for safety reasons. The magnetic switches can supply 2.8mA as the maximum current for good performance. Magnetic switches should be able to output 30mA of current.
