A SWITCHING REGULATOR analog IC is used in this voltage regulator 12v, which is the type of analog IC that this voltage regulator 12v is equipped with. This harley voltage regulator is available in the TO-263-6, D2Pak (5 Leads + Tab), TO-263BA package for the purpose of space saving. In this case, DC DC switching regulator has 1 outputs configured to it. ICs such as this voltage regulator are capable of generating Adjustable outputs through their output pins.
