There is an optimized performance in this voltage regulator because it utilizes the Tape & Reel (TR) package. This harley voltage regulator has 10 terminations. There is a 10-WFDFN Exposed Pad package available for this voltage regulator, as DC DC switching regulator is space-saving. In this case, DC DC switching regulator has 1 outputs configured to it. Adjusting voltage regulator's output pins generate Fixed output. Switching regulators like this one can be mounted on the Surface Mount mounting system.
