DC DC switching regulators like this one generate Adjustable (Fixed) outputs on their output pins to handle the power management. This voltage regulator 12v fits the Surface Mount mounting. As long as its operating temperature is 0°C~70°C TA, dc to dc voltage regulator should perform well. A DC-DC switching regulator of this type operates at a switching frequency of 25kHz.
