There are two types of analog ICs in this voltage regulator 12v: SWITCHED CAPACITOR CONVERTER ICs, which are the ones used in older voltage regulator 12vs. Space savings are achieved by placing this voltage regulator in the SOT-23-6 package. In this case, DC DC switching regulator has 1 outputs configured to it. There are output pins on this DC DC switching regulator that generate Fixed output. As the name implies, this voltage regulator 12v is designed for mounting on a Surface Mount bracket. Voltage regulators should be operated at -40°C~85°C TA temperature while operating. In this voltage regulator 12v, the switching frequency is 60kHz~200kHz. The regulator is capable of operating with a dc to dc voltage regulator's minimum input voltage of 1.5V.
