There is a SWITCHING REGULATOR type analog IC in this voltage regulator 12v that is used to convey analog signals. The harley voltage regulator is available as a 6-XFBGA, WLPBGA package to save space. In this case, DC DC switching regulator has 1 outputs configured to it. Adjusting voltage regulator's output pins generate Adjustable output. This voltage regulator 12v fits the Surface Mount mounting.
