It uses the Tube package in order to optimize the performance of this voltage regulator. In this voltage regulator, there are a total of 8 terminations. A SWITCHING REGULATOR analog IC is used in this voltage regulator 12v, which is the type of analog IC that this voltage regulator 12v is equipped with.
