It is designed to provide optimal performance by utilizing the Cut Tape (CT) package. In this voltage regulator, 8 terminations are present. As a matter of fact, the type of analog IC that this voltage regulator 12v is equipped with is called SWITCHING REGULATOR. Due to DC DC switching regulator's space saving design, this voltage regulator is available in a 8-UQFN package. There is a switching regulator that is compatible with the Surface Mount mounting. The peak reflow temperature of this regulator amounts to 260 to be essentially indestructible. To meet the operation requirements, voltage regulator is designed to provide 3V as the nominal input voltage. DC/DC regulators such as this one belong to the MIC2877 family of products.
