OP999 Overview


As a protective measure, these photodiodes are packaged in the Bulk. Continuously reverse-biasing photodiodes can withstand 60V voltage. As long as the photodiodes are operated in reverse-bias mode, they should not exceed voltage 60V. A photodiode is equipped with 2 pins. A circuit containing photodiodes may be able to release 100mW heat. In order for photodiodes to function, the temperature must not exceed 100°C. However, the photodiodes should be operated at a minimum temperature of -40°C. Generally, the maximum amount of heat released by photodiodes is 100mW. When current flows across a photodiode, it needs voltage 1.2V. It is possible for the photodiodes to supply 60V voltage when they are reverse-biased. Photodiodes exhibit 1nA current even in the absence of light input.
