TEMD1020 Overview

Tape & Reel (TR) is used to protect the photodiodes from damage. To ensure safety, photodiodes are put into SMD/SMT packages. Reverse-bias photodiodes should not be operated above 60V permanently. A photodiode is equipped with 2 pins. In a circuit, the photodiodes may release 75mW heat. It is recommended that the reverse anode voltage on the photodiodes be 60V. In general, the maximum heat generated by photodiodes should be 75mW in a circuit. In the DC circuit, the photodiodes can work properly with the reverse voltage of 60V. Photodiodes are supposed to operate at 1.3V voltage. Photodiodes exhibit 1nA current even in the absence of light input.
