TEMD5080X01 Overview


To protect them from damage, these photodiodes are packaged in the Digi-Reel?. To ensure safety, the photodiodes are packaged in 2-SMD, No Lead packages. When operating in reverse-bias mode, the photodiodes should not exceed 25V. There are 2 pins on the photodiodes. Within a circuit, photodiodes could generate 215mW heat. The reverse anode voltage for the photodiodes should be 25V. An ideal circuit would allow the photodiodes to release a maximum amount of heat in the form of 215mW heat. A reverse voltage 25V does not affect the photodiodes in the DC circuit. The voltage needed to get current to flow across a photodiode should be 1.3V. The current in a photodiode is 2nA even when there is no light input.
