US5881LSE-AAA-000-RE Overview
A protective Cut Tape (CT) package surrounds the magnetic switch to protect it from damage. For safety reasons, the magnetic switches have been packaged in TO-236-3, SC-59, SOT-23-3 packages. A good performance can be achieved with magnetic switches that can deliver 5mA as the maximum current. Switches of this type are capable of delivering 50mA as the maximum current when they are in use. The maximum current supplied by these switches can be 5mA. This termination has 3 terminations. In general, the switches should output 50mA of current. The switch will normally supply 12V for reliable operation. Magnetic switches are capable of providing voltages as low as 3.5V. In the event of a magnetic switch malfunction, it could supply 24V voltage. There is a theoretical limit to the amount of current it can supply when it is working which is 2.5mA.
