VEMD2500X01 Overview


The Tape & Reel (TR) protects these photodiodes from damage. To ensure safety, photodiodes are put into 2-SMD, Yoke Bend packages. A continuous voltage of 60V should not be applied to the photodiodes in reverse-bias mode. Photodiodes have a pin count of 2. There was the possibility that photodiodes in a circuit would emit 215mW heat. A reverse anode voltage of 60V should be applied to the photodiodes. It is generally recommended that the maximum heat released by photodiodes should be 215mW in a circuit. With the reverse voltage of 60V, the photodiodes can operate properly. Current should flow across a photodiode at 1V voltage. A photodiode occurs even at 1nA current without light input.
